The camera's don't pick up any night…
The camera's don't pick up any night activity even when the night sensor is activated. They often miss things during the day. It is disappointing that they don't work that well. When they do work the images are good. I like that I can check the timeline (when the camera's work) or I can watch my yard live.

Unacceptable performance and support
lots of problems with door sensors, severe problems. Poor customer service- on phone waiting for 20 minutes plus- twice.Never able to talk with customer service. Would NOT purchase this product again

Disappointed.
Loved the idea of simplisafe, setup was easy, home base is aesthetically pleasing but I guess it was too good to be true. Customer service is incredibly hard to get ahold of, I had to reach out via Instagram to get a response. Issues haven’t been resolved. Entry sensors repeatedly malfunctioning requiring extra dismantling of units which defeats the purpose of being “user friendly”.

WHERE IS MY FOB?
Ordered system a month ago. A Email was received after money for system was taken out of my account that the FOB was on back order and would arrive in 6 days. I have not received FOB nor did I receive any updates on status. I emailed "Dave" who turned it over to Haley who told me I had to call to verify I was who I said I was. I am on my 4th attempt at calling the "Experts" I was told it will once again be a 40 minute wait. I am 16 minutes in. This to speak to someone re: something I still don't have but paid for???

DISGRUNTLED!
I am using it to monitor a remote location. I couldn't get it to work when I installed it. I talked to tech support and he couldn't get it going so he was going to get back with me. It never worked. You are collecting monitoring fees on a system that is useless.

Customer service has gotten terribleTerrible Customers
Customer service has gotten terrible, taking hours to answer phone if at all and days, if at all to respond to emails. The app is prone to drop all your sensors and must be manually re-entered, smoke alarm went off multiple times after merely changing batteries causing the fire department to respond.

Cameras are TERRIBLE
It’s been 1 year of many hours & cameras still don’t operate correctly! Excuse is always “ WiFi” changed carrier even & was worse Disappointed & would appreciate a 1 on 1 contact from company

I was on hold for over 30 minutes to…
I was on hold for over 30 minutes to resolve an issue. After somebody answered my call in took another 45 minutes, most of which I was on hold again. Awful and rude customer service. When SimpliSafe was a smaller company they were much more responsive and polite. Now they are just another big company that has too many customers to care about losing a few.

Your sensors keep falling off the doors…
Your sensors keep falling off the doors and windows. We've sanded the area like your technicians told us and have used gorilla tape. We keep hoping the system works if there's an intruder.

Cant use my camera
Had to drop the monthly monitoring, and when i did, I lost my camera in the Den, I have no way to access it. Pretty sorry i still can use my camera

Disappointed
Since I have purchased all of your equipment and installed them not all have ever worked at the same time. I've called and called but was unable to have my problem addressed to my satisfaction. The cameras will work sometimes and sometimes they don't. The motions sensors will work sometimes and other times they will not. I Have spent a lot of money with you and even installed one of your routers with no correction to my problem other than it cost me more money. I'm really thinking of going back to ADT. I wish I had never bought your product. I even had a professional installer install it at an extra cost.

Profile incomplete error message
I’ve had a “profile incomplete, no police dispatch” error. There’s a link to finish profile but when I click on that I just get another error. I called customer service only to be on hold for 30 minutes before finally hanging up.

Waste of money
Unless you are a computer genius this is not for you . I spent approximately 1000$ and this pet rock is worthless . I love to save money but if it doesn’t work Iam not saving anything. I’ll let the pros handle the job and literally throw a grand worth of equipment in the garbage . Should have known . Additionally Iam sure some canned response is going to blame me or say how sorry they are and I should call the support people . I tried and they immediately want more money .

I returned my equipment as it was very cheap mad. Also I was upset about the fact that as soon as I paid for my system I received an email for another system deal that was cheaper than the one I paid for and had more equipment with it. The price for the systems that were the same system had over $100 difference in the regular price. How can the same system cost more in an email then it cost online. That makes me not trust you. Why would you send me an email with more equipment and a lesser price after I paid for mine. I don’t want you anymore. I returned your equipment.

I updated my SimpliSafe and my video…
I updated my SimpliSafe and my video camera wouldn’t work. I tried calling on several different days and waited on the line for 15 minutes or longer each time. So I stopped calling. And after a couple hours I was able to get my video camera to work. Very disappointed in the customer service. I’m not sure if you guys cut your staff to bare minimum? Also wanted to get a louder audible siren but unable to get a hold of anybody at customer service

I would not suggest purchasing…
I would not suggest purchasing SimpliSafe cameras or camera doorbell. The cameras inside the home would not pick up a specific person the camera was intended for. The doorbell camera outside does not always pick up individuals at the front door coming or going. Very unhappy with SimpliSafe and I have talked with individuals at SimpliSafe but due to my frustration I just have finally given up even though I pay a monthly fee to record the camera doorbell.

They steal $25 from my account to activate monitoring . I don’t want that service. I stopped it once. They did it again. I would not recommend this business.

Wish I had all that money back
Here is the dead honest truth. I wouldn’t of even given one star, but that wasn’t an option. It was a year and a half before SS contacted me to do a review, so here it is. I got a siren with my system, and even though the siren is in the system the three types the system has gone off the siren never sounded, so there was money well spent. The motion detector had to be reprogrammed every two to three weeks cause the control panel would stop showing it in the systems. And finally I got the front door lock cause it said I was suppose to be able to open it remotely use it the SS app. Well after two hours on the phone with tech support no one could advise me how to do it, so that never worked. My system would also go off occasionally when I would come in the door even though it was off. Needless to say after about two months I just shut the whole thing down and have not used it in over 14 months. It was a huge waste of $450 that I wish, more like regret ever doing. I went out and bought an Arlo system for less money, use it every day, works awesome, and gives me the piece of mind I was looking for in protecting my home and family that simple safe never gave me.

I’ve struggled trouble shooting false…
I’ve struggled trouble shooting false alarms. Each time I call I have to upgrade something. I was supposed to receive a new base station but it never showed. Getting frustrated with sensor performance.

Your door bell camera is crap
Your door bell camera is crap, I went through three of them, your tech says it’s my transformer but it worked fine with the other one I hade before and the ring door bell camera so thanks for nothing..

I been struggling with your system…
I been struggling with your system since I placed my order. I was a pass customer of simplisafe in FL, I sold my house in Florida including the alarm system. Cancel my account. Move to PR and I was a very happy customer and decided to get a new system for my home in PR First the order was cancel with out any reason, I called an expend almost two hours on the phone to placed my order again, two weeks later I called again to fallow up on my order and find out that the order was canceled again. I decided not to buy the system. A few days later I received the order, I decided to take it. Setup the system with the monitoring system, today I find out the the monitoring system was canceled, I activated again, what is going to happen next.

would not recomend…no dvr for…
would not recomend…no dvr for cameras,unless you pay the xtra money per month..the window sensors dont work and they tell you they will re-credit whatever you dont use but i havent received any credit yet..

I am unable to log into my account…
I am unable to log into my account since I upgraded my system. I wait on hold for over an hour each time i call and then get disconnectted. Awful customer service.
