Your montering of my house needs improving...for instance..I accidentally set off 1 alarm and it took a little bit of time to put my code in..
No test Messaging was sent to inquired about it, which was an alarm for me. I feel you should have made some attempt to make sure it was an accident. I felt It was a waist of my money...I didn't feel that I was protected...so I dícontinued service.

The system works ok but the customer service isn't so great and their auto bill stinks, I got charged three times in one month. I do not recommend simplisafe.
Support response times are horrible
Support response times are horrible. When you email them they say you need to call. When you call you're on hold for over 20 minutes. I eventually gave up. Tried to reactivate my service online and that too doesn't work and says I need to call support. I switched to Simplisafe from ADT but at least with ADT you could call them and talk to someone. Really disappointed with Simplisafe.

Problems from the Start
I purchased my system on 6/24 (indoor camera, 5 motion detectors, 2 door detectors, outdoor siren, 2 key fobs, 1 water sensor). After I paid the next day I received notification that the 2 key fobs and water sensor are backordered. I've not received the backordered items to date. I had the system installed professionally through Simplisafe (HelloTech) on 7/6/21. The installer was friendly, but looked like she just rolled out of bed and didn't wear any HelloTech identifying clothes or id badge. She installed the system but never tested the system. I tested the system that day and NONE of the motion sensors detected my movement. I contacted Simplisafe and spoke to a customer service rep who seemed detached from the conversation. He insisted that the 5 motion detectors be replaced, which I thought strange as the odds of all 5 motion detectors failing were small unless Simplisafe built a substandard product. I installed the new sensors and encountered the same problem. I spoke to Simplisafe again and this time spoke with Brian, who took the time to listen. It appears the HelloTech technician installed my sensors upside down. I then contacted HelloTech. They stated they would contact me within 24-48 hours with a resolution. 64 hours later and with no communication from HelloTech I contacted HelloTech again and spoke to a manager, and supposedly someone is coming tomorrow to fix the motion sensors. I purchased a Simplisafe Door Pro camera and installed it myself - it works great. Bottom line - the technology seems to work, but Simplisafe must improve the integration of their product with the installer if Simplisafe is going to rely on one installer. Simplisafe customer service couldn't contact HelloTech directly to work through my problem. Also, I spent over 40 minutes on hold with Simplisafe waiting to speak to customer service - this happened both times I called Simpisafe. Lastly - don't selll me something and then tell me after the fact the items are backordered. One month from purchase the back ordered items have not arrived and my system isn't properly installed. Simplisafe must improve these areas if they are to remain in business.

Poor Customer Relations interface
Product works as described. My problem started with trying to reach out to the Customer Service staff with a question via phone. Good luck 'cuz it didn't happen for me! Numerous times.
Easy to install but that's about it.
Easy to install, I'll give them that but.... the fire alarm continually went off even as we swapped it's battery- we gave up on it. The alarm CONSTANTLY falls off the wall- the adhesive no bueno. The interface to log on and update or whatever is a complete fail. We've not found a way to subsequently log on to it so I guess whatever it is, it is? When I tried to get service they didn't recognise my email address (??) so I couldn't register, etc. I was going to sign up for their alert service and storage for video, but it would call the cops if the alarm was triggered? NO WAY do I want that. I want to know if it's triggered, not the cops (or at least have the option) Basically now the alarm system is window dressing. OK, I bought it for insurance discounts and it's served that purpose but it's not in any way an actual alarm system- it's just a toy with these issues.
Disappointed in video usage
Disappointed that after I used the 2 month free monitoring, I couldn't use the same camera when I canceled the monitoring. It took SEVERAL calls to finally get SS to send a replacement camera....just to find out that the SS ystem doesn't provide video clips of activities unless you pay for monitoring. It's just not obvious in their promotions.

I have had the system for less than one…
I have had the system for less than one year and have replaced the entry sensors on two doors because they were falsely indicating they were open. They continue to either show they are open when they are not or that " the device is not responding" and cannot communicate with the base station which is within the specified range, yet the next day the system shows that everything is okay. I now have another entry sensor that has done the same thing. The base station indicated it needed an update. When I attempted to do that it responded that it was up to date. The base station is located on the first floor of my house so it is within range of all sensors. However that makes it very hard to hear the voice responses when I arm or disarm the system from my upstairs bedroom. I therefor ordered additional sirens which I was told by a customer service rep would "mimic the base station in every way including the voice responses". Wrong. They did not. They are a siren only. In my opinion this system is garbage.
Not simply
It has been a couple of months and it still doesn't work. One of the problems is my Wifi system which I have upgraded to Netgear Orbi and this improved some but the doorbell does not pick up the Wifi signals that it did before. You give minimum information that I believe is frustrating.
Not satisfied
I was on hold for an exorbitantly long amount of time before anybody finally came on to try and help me. After I explained in detail the problem we went through a couple of different troubleshooting techniques which were unsuccessful. I was told to hold on the line and was disconnected. After being on the phone for over an hour and 20 minutes nothing was resolved and I continue to have problems with my system that I just purchased. Very unsatisfied with simpli safe right now

Purc& received based on installation by hello tech. Received notice after receiving that they don’t install in my area. Products still in shipping boxes. Would never had purchased if I had known Hello tech wasn’t going to install.
No support available or timely
I tried calling the support line multiple times, was put on hold for over an hour, nobody got back to me, and via email it was 4 days before I heard back from anyone. I just troubleshot the issue myself and resolved it, seems the Simplisafe technical assistance service is vastly under-sourced based on the cost of service.

Customer service is non-customer oriented. I ordered a sensor about 2 weeks ago that got lost with USPS. Called to ask for a replacement one and after waiting for a long time to speak with a person, I was treated unfairly. First, they did not want to send a replacement sensor; after complaining, the representative said he would send it but I had to pay for shipping. I refuse this option and complained about it so the answer was that they hang up on my call. So far I have not received my sensor and nobody seems to care
No smart home integration
There needs to be integration with other home automation, like Homekit. We should be able to, for example, when someone rings the Simplisafe doorbell we can have Lutron Casetta turn on the porch light.
Very disappointed with system
Very disappointed with system. I was sold on the idea that camera could be used outdoor. After buying the sleeve and calling tech support numerous times , I am very disappointed with the system. The only item that the camera would recognize cars passing my home. Never detected humans!!
I’m canceling my service today. I have had Vivint installed with appropriate outdoors cameras. U should stop lying to people and telling them your camera can be used outdoors!
