Your installation folks are not good at…
Your installation folks are not good at all. The fifth day after they installed it the sensors were not aligned and one fell off the wall. the person they sent was not qualified to install the cameras. Wait time for customer service was very very long.

Good and Bad
Good and Bad. But the bad got me & my family major stress so that is what I first will write about. Cons: 1-I was charged for FEDEX expedite shipment, they did not deliver on time to fedex, then fedex was delayed, all just before my travels when I needed to setup the system. I could not set up system. Some Customer service reps are confused, need training. Also they have no access to warehouse information so just guessing. 2-SIM card issues on new base! major delays again. How did it pass quality inspection/test? 3-Camera malfunction again delays in replacement camera. How did it pass quality inspection/test? 4-For all the above issues much times wasted on phone with Customer Service. Pros: 1- They took responsibility for each of the above every time and took provided support to address or replace. 2- The system and the app worked well even when I was travelling in Europe etc. 3- Easy installation of the sensors and devices and quick recognition by the base unit and control panel & app. Very nice control panel, key fob and app. Overall now happy I selected SimplySafe after initial hickups all ok.

Terrible products
Terrible products. Entry alarms fell off the doors. Outdoor cameras quit working. Service was never steady and it was not due to our WIFI connection. Everything is applied with the equivalent of a Command strip. It all seems to be cheap products.

I returned the camera long ago and…
I returned the camera long ago and don't know why I'm still on your list. It was difficult to instal and my home is open floor plan and now I cannot remember all I found that showed this was not for me!

Did NOT realize until after I ordered WRONG product
Did NOT realize until after I ordered, what I really wanted for my urban apartment was a DOOR CAMERA. They did NOT have 1 for me at the time. I was sent an INDOOR monitor which i did NOT really want & outdoor motion sensor.

I ordered a kit
I ordered a kit. When it can in it was incomplete. I called and was told the rest of my order was on back order. Still haven't received my remaining order. So now it still in the box and I order a new system from another company.

Simplisafe is affordable...but you get…
Simplisafe is affordable...but you get what you pay for. Doorbell was weak, constantly cutting off audio was low in important situations. Couldn't get hold of video footage I needed. Missed the window of time to remove the system and return it because I was a thousand miles away in my previous home( system was set up In our vacation home) and they refused to recoup my costs in any way at all. Called to cancel the $27 monthly fee for promonitoring but just pushed the basic monthly fee on me. They didn't care about my situation at all nor please me as a paying customer. I now pay nothing per month and want it that way because this company and it's system is worth just that. Very disappointed. Btw, a motion sensor went off for no reason triggering the loud alarm and made us drive back home just after we left the house to double check everything was ok. System is buggy and no integration with Google home aside from placing the system on and off. Would not recommend.

Love/Hate
Love the system, installation,use and support were great. However I am totally disappointed that the equipment was obsolete and no available components for a repair or addition in only a few years after the original purchase.

These are not good cameras
These are not good cameras, they hardly catch outdoor movement, we can walk past them and they won't even pick it up, we have drove a 4 wheeler by them didn't pick up, most the time if it does catch something it's a bug or the very tail end of a vehicle, we got these for protection of our home and it doesn't do that, I don't feel safe with these cameras anyone can show up and rob us and wouldn't even know it, very disappointing do not recommend

Our system cameras continue to plague…
Our system cameras continue to plague us with going off line. We are also not happey with the motion sensors. They seem less that sensitive. Sometime they work, other times I can walk right by them and nothing occurs.

Installers Beware
I’m an installer, I gave simplisafe a chance to test the equipment and customer service. I stressed numerous times that I was an installer and this is not my alarm. Many times! I even said I hope your recording this so it’s on record. I installed this alarm on a lakehouse and the owner is only there when on vacation so the owner needs to call and set up the account under their name. Despite my efforts to communicate my account was still charged for a year, when the customer called to setup the alarm. To give credit, when I called customer service finally resolved the issue but hopefully management can sort this out so other don’t have to go this. I understand you have software that must link the hardware to a person but there needs to be a plan in place for installers. It’s really quite simple. Needless to say I will not be using simplisafe again for a while. There are plenty of other wireless and wired systems I use so it’s a non issue. Steve

Too long to wait for important parts of…
Too long to wait for important parts of the system. I was never told before I paid for all the parts that I would not get all of them. I have no system running because Hello Tech would double the installation charge to come out twice. And I was told all parts should arrive by Aug 10 and now the message is " you have no idea when they will be delivered". You do not have a responsible sales force! I'm sorry I called you.

I can't justify the cost of you…
I can't justify the cost of you monitoring my system and would prefer to monitor it myself however you do not have that option so I am just out the money spent for equipment I can't use.

Since the beginning I don’t feel like a valued customer with the poor customer service to overall quality of the equipment and the high monthly service fees. I don’t know why I continue with this service. I know understand the value that ADT provides vs SimplySafe.

Equipment Not Very Seamless
I went months paying for the upgraded system that can be controlled from the app. It gave me a lot of trouble because it never worked from my phone . Each time I called SimpliSafe, I spent a long time on hold waiting for a fix. When I finally got a hold of them they’d say “ok let’s take out the batteries from the system , uninstall the app , etc - all things that I told them I have tried before . Then they said it might be their system updating and for me to wait a few days and see if the problem is resolved. ( who has time to be calling back and forth?) Eventually they sent me a replacement tower which I am thankful for , but it had the same issue. I did some research on my own and think I solved the problem. I’m mostly disappointed because of how long I paid the extra money for an upgrade and how many times I’ve had to call back in order to have an issue resolved.

The person I was talking to couldn't…
The person I was talking to couldn't figure out how to help me. After about 45 minutes between being on hold and talking to the help desk I was disconnected.

Constantly Disconnected
In a small home with excellent WiFi, this system would never stay connected. Constant alerts about being disconnected. Went through all of the troubleshooting and an issue could not be found. Cancelled service and returned equipment.

The entry sensors sensors won’t stay stuck The indoor camera is poor. It loses connectivity to my network And now it won’t reconnect. So I’ve not gotten any benefit. We had a system in our other house that worked fine so I m not a fan now

Customer Support Heading South
When I first installed my system, things were good. More than enough support. Helpful. Now when I call (two faulty smoke detectors), I'm on hold for a minimum of 45 minutes. If you send in an email via their web site, crickets (never get a response. I don't think anyone monitors their inbox). Promises were made on when replacement would be sent, only to find out later, they have a shortage on replacement units. If they had just been honest upfront, I wouldn't have had to waste my time following up on a commitment Simplisafe made to me.
