I've called several times to get assistance for my permit so I am able to get emergency services dispatched to my house . The last time I called I was on hold for 34 minutes. I still didn't get anyone after 30 minutes. That's too long to wait, especially for a home security customer service. What if something happen? I wasn't notified that I wouldn't receive emergency service dispatched until one day my alarm actually triggered when I wasn't home. I felt so helpless. At this point they are just a noise making and app service.

I resent that your new system is not backwards compatible with the old. Why does it take so long to ship new equipment. It should take days, not weeks. I rely on this equipment to keep my family safe.

So disappointed in your service. Purchased over thanksgiving weekend and from the beginning it was anything other than simple. 3 different errors on your end, compensated by a free month each of monitoring but not worth it, wish I could have just nixed the entire plan with your company. Unfortunately ended up telling my parents to get a system too as it was before I became aware of the disparity between your marketing and reality. They have been unhappy from the beginning too. Just one example: each of us has had our alarms go off and as a test we let the alarm continue to see how long it would take for monitoring to call. For my parents, it went on for 3 minutes until I decided to call YOU guys to see what’s going on (all while alarm continued). It took 6.5 mins from when the alarm went off until a monitoring rep connected with me and when I asked why the delay, she said (and I quote): “we were just about to call you”. I tried the same at my house and it took several minutes to get a call from you. Utterly ridiculous as speed of response could mean life or death. What if we really had an emergency?? No one would even call to check if it was a genuine alarm or not? Last but not least, your “outdoor” cameras are absolutely useless. Had I been better informed I would have realized the critical downside to setting up indoor cameras OUTSIDE. It constantly goes off at things that don’t need attention (cars passing by, branches moving in the wind). This has reached a point where we ignore motion notifications now, undercutting the reason we set up cameras outside to begin with. I’ve told all my friends to stay away and will continue to do so. The only reason I’m still with you is because of the money I spent upfront on purchasing the equipment. Would never recommend to anyone I care for.

Doesn't provide history of sensors opening and closing (basic functionality that should be available). Should also provide audio of which sensors are opening and closing (already does this during testing mode but not during normal usage which is strange). Sensor detection is not robust (will say sensor is not communicating, and then re-find sensor a day later). Camera detection should be motion-activated instead of just when the system is disarmed. These are all features found with ADT for example.
Constant issues with smart door lock
I have constant issues with the smart door locks. I have replaced it 3 times because it drops off the base station and the my Airbnb guests can’t get it.

Good Customer Service but disappointing product
I was very excited to get my system. Unfortunately, I had a chronic problem with sensors suddenly going offline and not connecting to the base station. I must have called technical support a half dozen times. The people are very nice and guided me on "fixes", but after working for a day (or less) the problem came back. We tried installing new sensors. We tried replacing the base station. We tried taking the base station apart and rebooting it. They had me change my wifi from 5.0 to 2.4. The SimpliSafe people were very nice but nothing worked. So I ended up taking the whole thing down and returning it. I was so disappointed.

Does not record at Night
We use this as an outside camera with the outdoors set up. Simplisafe only records if it detects motion which is great so its not constantly recording. It records nothing at night once it gets dark. In day time it works great, catches and notifies of cars that drive by people walking. However, at night, we have literally pulled into the drive way moved in front of the camera, which says it is on and it does not notify or record anything once the sun goes down. We are dealing with a stalker situation so recording at night is very important in our situation.

For over an HOUR I Called all numbers available after being place on a waiting hold at the numbers for over an HOUR all this after trying to place an online order and your system kept trying to order me an entire new system. I then inquired and placed the order with one of your online dealers. The WATER SENSOR came right away The Door-Window Sensors took almost a FULL MONTH to get. No explanation was ever GIVEN. I intend to purchase MORE PARTS but I don't know who to order from
