Simplisafe isn't always simple....
We purchased our SimpliSafe system with full expectations of a positive experience. Sadly we spent hours on the phone with customer service. Each representative was polite and tried to assist us, however our system issues were never resolved. This negative experience could have been entirely avoided if we were told prior to purchase we needed a minimum amount of download and upload megabytes. Please note, when reaching out to customer service, audible issues are challenging due to extreme background noise in addition to a long wait for operators. We had to return our system. Simplisafe did reimbursement us the entire amount.

Good system but terrible customer service
I'm giving two stars because I submitted several questions through customer service online and never received a response. The alarm system is fine but having a company that does not respond to emails is unacceptable.

Good product didn't deliver on promo
Good product didn't deliver on promo! SimpliSafe said I would get 14,000 United Miles if I bought a system. I bought more than the minimum required system and SimpliSafe has never lived up to their side of the deal. Repeated attempts to get SImpliSafe to hold up their end of the bargain have met with complete, thundering silence.

Phone call wait was long always.
Phone call wait was long always. Package in mail didn't arrive correct. Sales rep on phone didn't know how to set up my system and I had to call back to someone who did know how. Then they disconnected my camera and it doesn't show up on my app now.

bad!bad!! doorbell
everything was good in the beginning . after a few months the door bell camera stopped working after spending hours of checking ,the tech.we talked with agreed to ship us another one.i received it and installed camera worked good however the voice was garbled and noticed after awhile we weren't getting alerts on our phones when people approached the front of the house.got back with the tech.checked my settings no good! threw my hands in the air gave up

Customer Service Review
The SimpliSafe Alarm System is wonderful but customer service and ease of contact is pretty poor. Actually one of the worst in trying to contact a representative I have ever encountered. If SimpliSafe would address and correct this they would be awesome and untouchable!

Seemingly okay equipment, poor customer service.
I've tried to email only to not have my correspondanceon answered. My phone calls have only come with long waits & being disconnected & not called back.

It's impossible to get a hold of customer service. I've spent hours waiting to hear from someone. When the system works, it's great. But if you ever have a problem there is no way to get help. Very frustrated.

I hired some company to set up the system but it did not work properly and I had work on it myself. I got a camera for the front porch and it does not interact properly with my phone. I would not do it again.

System has failed and response from technical is not fast or efficient. Would not purchase again and wish that I didn't have it now. I pay the top monthly fee but have no confidence in the system working or that anyone would respond if an unwanted entry would ever occur at our house.

Bad customer service and overcharging for monitoring
I'm okay with the hardware and set up, but I was told $15 per month for monitoring and I've been charged $26 per month for several months. Tried to contact and get some kind of email response, but got no answer. So bottom line is good system, but your customer service and response stinks.

Unable to get fundamental questions answered.
Two Issues: 1: Some fundamental features appear to be missing but I am not sure since I can't get anyone on the pone to get my questions answered. The features I think are missing are too difficult to explain without writing a "paper" on it. Would rather just talk to someone. My time is valuable too. 2: There are features of the SImpli Safe system I have questions about. I have tried to call on numerous occasions over a period of months. Every time I call it takes more than 10-15 minutes to get to anyone I can talk to. I am sorry but I feel that is excessive. Very disappointed in this.

Never could get the cameras to work and…
Never could get the cameras to work and every time I talked to customer service they tried to fix it doing the same thing. Never returned my money after I returned it and they had it for 8 days and I had to call to get my money back. Horrible system.

Worked well after initial setup
Worked well after initial setup, but now master unit will not respond to keypad. Have tried everything short of calling in- including opening the unit and removing the battery.

Not real happy with service
Not real happy with service. Omitted four items in order and then charged for replacing what was not sent. Billed for services not ordered. Still have not set up emergency services alarm.
