Probably a nice system for home use
Probably a nice system for home use. Maybe. This "business system" has no ability to add users other than the single admin. When I asked them they suggested I just share the admin login with all of my employees. How would we know who unarmed the alarm system? Every staff member has a pin for the current system so we know who did what. Once returned it we had to make about 30 calls and it took months to be refunded. Several times we were told they had processed the refund. Then we were told that they never received the equipment. Then they supposedly mailed the check and it "must have gotten lost" and then finally one day after we finally wrote them off the check arrived. The people were almost always bey nice and seemed helpful but nothing ever was accomplished other than feeling good. The features are terrible for a business but probably ok for a home. Installed seems easy enough but I can't verify it's effectiveness because without multiple users we could not deploy. Hopefully, they'll get past all of this at some point because I really wanted to use their product.

I’m not happy with Simplisafe at all
I’m not happy with Simplisafe at all. The doorbell is connected and I get notifications, but it doesn’t ring out loud. Turning it on and off is ok.

Disappointed
Well, I’ve got the older products that you offer. When you send the pushbuttons remotes the batteries are dead. Also, I ordered a video doorbell and because of the excessive time that it takes to get through customer service I have had it for probably three months and still it is not working. Customer service calls Generally go on answered after waiting a half an hour or more. Very very frustrating. At this point, I am considering possibly switching to another provider. I really had high hopes for You, but it seems you guys care more about acquiring customers than taking care of the ones that you have. I say this because after numerous hangups and no answers on the service line I called the sales line and was picked up immediately. Very disconcerting

Doorbell Camera is junk...a waste of…
Doorbell Camera is junk...a waste of money. Doorbell camera will not stay connected to WiFi/alarm system even though wifi signal strength is at full strength. Adhesive strip is poor for door sensors. Sensors fall off even though I've replaced adhesive strip multiple times.

Very pleasant conversations, but 0 results
Very pleasant conversations with SimpliSafe over the phone, but no results as of yet. This refund request has been going since early January. Every time I call for an update I have to start over with giving the full history.

Useless without monitoring.
Functionality of the system is next to useless if you don’t also subscribe to the monitored service. The marketing materials never mention the anemic usefulness of the no contract Simplisafe system. In fact, it’s not until after you purchase it and then go online to find out why you can’t do all the things they promote, that you find in their FAQs that they really don’t want you using it without the monitored service.

Base crashed while I was away
The base shut down and needed reset while I was out of the country. No alarm or video was available for several weeks until I returned to reset it. Was not the internet.

I LOVE THE PRODUCT, BUT...
i LOVE THE PRODUCT, BUT, ... I HAVE WRITTEN TO THEM ASKING WHY I AM BEING CHARGED $29+ A MONTH AND HAVE HAD NO REPLY. IT IS ADVERTISED AT $14.99/MONTH. WHEN I CALL THERE, I GET A RECORDING THAT THEY ARE BUSY AND I GET PUT INTO A QUEUE.

Cameras are cheap plastic and do not maintain a good connection! SERVICE is horrible!!! The actual alarm system is very good!

Installation Problems
At the time of purchase, I expressed interest in having the system installed for the $79 fee. I was told after receiving the system that I would have to contact HelloTech, your contract installer. I contacted HelloTech via their website, set-up my account and submitted 2 installation dates as required (with hours of availability). I received no communication and the two days passed. I contacted HelloTech and they informed me that the first person who had helped me had inputted my contact info incorrectly. I was told the install was cancelled. That did not make any sense since an install date was never confirmed. I again gave two more possible install dates and hours. I received a cancellation notice once again. I called HelloTech and asked about the installation scheduling being cancelled. Both during the first and second cancellations, the HelloTech scheduler said that there wasn't a qualified installer available for this kind of system. I pointed out to them that this is designed as an user installable system, but I am opting for a "professional" installation because it will be for my work facility. I also found out during the course of the phone call that HelloTech does not have regular technicians on payroll. Much like Uber, HelloTech posts the service request and independent contractors affiliated with HelloTech can choose to accept or decline the service request. Since it was unclear if this was a time constraint on the technician's side, I had the scheduler post a 21 day range of availability and for all technician hours. In two days the request was cancelled. Considering that your company enlists HelloTech as your installation and service contractor nationwide, I believe that your company should either replace HelloTech or provide an alternate company. I did contact Best Buy's Geek Squad and they confirmed that they could install the system (at over $240, but at least they would show). This has wasted a great deal of time since the system was purchased late last year.

Doorbell cam has significant delays and a solid 25% of the time it will say video unavailable even while on my home WiFi. Have a very fast reliable network (xfinity). This occurs about 75% of the time we are away from home.

The Master remote does not work and…
The Master remote does not work and this is an ongoing problem. It took about 4 months to get another one and after using it for almost two months it don't work I am currently saving moving to go to another company.

Camera is very hit or miss on catching movement. When it does catch movement, only records for a limited time. Camera drops wi fi connection. Have had one false alarm already.

Room sensors do detect cats, which requires me to reassess how many sensors I need to secure my home. For some reason, some of the window sensors stopped working.
