Currently my motion sensors are not…
Currently my motion sensors are not working. Yesterday I set my alarm to "away" and tested all 3 motion sensors by walking around the house and none of them recognized motion until I physically touched the sensor. Also, one of my key fobs has already stopped working. Please reach out when you can, thanks Colin Barbaro

The cameras are crap
The cameras are crap. I had to send two back. The setup doesn't work most of the time. You need to fire the nitwits that designed that process, throw that JUNK in the e-waste bin where it belongs, and GET REAL SECURITY CAMERAS.

Many of the sensors don't stick
Many of the sensors don't stick, they just fall off the doors and windows. Because of this, I'm afraid to use it if I'm not home, because if a sensor falls off the alarm will sound . I could not reach anyone in Customer Service and my calls were not returned, despite leaving messages. $500 wasted.

I was loving it for the first 6 months…
I was loving it for the first 6 months of using it but about a month ago when I started getting a "wireless interference" message and I can not seem to find a solution. I was told trying to move the base further or closer away. I tried both without any luck. Not sure why this is happening all of a sudden. I now have a fear its not working properly and I am now not safe using Simpli safe until resolved

Your monitoring is great but...
Your monitoring is great but your customer service is horrible. Takes a long time to get anyone and email support is not worth it due to waiting weeks for an answer. The monitoring is the only thing that saves the service.

Camera does not work be as described
Camera does not work be as described. Get a lot of false trips. the alert is not loud enough when in noise area. The siren is not loud enough to be heard in all areas of the house. The advertisement for the system. House is only 1200 sq. ft., had to get added siren. The system does not have fire sense alarm that meets City requirements were we live. Must be AC powered with battery back up.

Good product, but lousy customer support.
For me, the hallmark of a good company to deal with is their customer service after you’ve invested in their product. To date, SimpliSafe fails miserably in this regard. You clearly think that once your product is out the door your relationship with the customer is over except for the monitoring fees you continue to collect. Recently, I had need of customer service with a camera issue. Online formulaic chat was ineffective as was the limited faq area. So, I called your service number twice. The first time, I gave up after being on hold 29 minutes. The second time I quit after 25 minutes. I went to Twitter to see how you do there and found other customer complaints about long hold times. I left my own complaint and a week later you responded. I ultimately resolved my camera issue without your help. Today, I went to your website to purchase a couple of water systems. As I learned there, you’re all about selling systems. It’s virtually impossible to just purchase an accessory without jumping through hoops so I gave up. I will buy water sensors elsewhere. I cannot recommend SimpliSafe.

Worst customer service of all time.
1. Customer service is non-existant. I emailed them twice months ago with no reply. 2. My 10 lbs cat set off the motion sensors that they claim “Your dogs and cats under 50 lbs won’t trigger the alarm”.

We get numerous false alarms so we…
We get numerous false alarms so we disabled and cancelled service. We had alarms from glass break and smoke both caused the city to come out and paid over $500 in false alarm fees

Inadequate for the price
I feel that the simply safe system is...to expensive for what it does. In order to be secure first you must spend 2-3 hundred dollars to purchase all of the required components of the system. Not including extra entry sensors, motion detectors etc. Then you must sign up for a monthly subscription plan (29.99) in order for you to monitor and be alerted if your alarm goes off. All in all id recomend looking into a different security system. Maybe a standalone unit that doesnt require a subscription.

Customer service is not very good
Customer service is not very good. The wait times to get to a person are very long. I have had an issue with my doer bell camera since i got it. I received a part that was supposed to help keep the battery charged but it still doesn’t work. I am not happy with this.

Broken Promise
Generally happy with the system, but only bought it because of the promised HomeKit integration that's more than a year late. I write software for a living, some of it this sort. It shouldn't be taking this long and now I'm considering, after less than a year, switching to another manufacturer.

Everything was just great at the start
Everything was just great at the start. All items installed easily except the window units. Had a bit of trouble getting those to stick on the surfaces, but eventually got the job done. Got it all up and running and then decided it was time to setup the monitoring service. What a disappointment! Even after I called the factory we still could not get cell service. I get service for all iPhones, tablets, computers, etc., but could not get it for SimpliSafe. Sooo we the stuff all back into the boxes and returned it to you!

Deceptive. Putting the advanced features of the app behind a pay wall renders the system just about useless for those who want to self monitor.

When I bought my system (for my motoryacht
When I bought my system (for my motoryacht) I called and asked if the main control could be powered by a 5volt USB cable. The tech indicated it could. There is no USB cord shaped in a way to power the main control, so I called back to see if I could buy one, got a different tech, who told me there is NO WAY that the main control could be powered by USB. I work with USB all day. The power cord for the main control is simpli (see what I did) a USB transformer. I carved a 5volt USB cable so that it would fit the main unit, which powers the main control with ease. Had I known this to start with, I would have never bought SimpliSafe

when you have questions pertaining to set up problems or trying to retrieve a "safe word" in a hurry..............you are forwarded to a voice mail box. Unacceptable. They are consistent in charging my credit card monthly however.......right on time

I hope it's not a real emergency.
I received a call last week regarding an alarm at my home. I had just left and I knew my wife was home, so I told the SimpliSafe rep not to dispatch the police yet. I told her I would call and find out what was going on and call back if necessary. As I was about to hang up, I was asked for my password. After I stated my password, I was asked to allow her to repeat it back to me. Ok. She repeated it to me and I repeated it back to her and again, was about to hang up. At this point, I really wanted to get a hold of my wife and make sure she and the kids were ok. Then, I had to sit through the SimpliSafe associate spell out my password in the, "that's "C' for Charlie, "O" for Oscar, "T" for Tango" fashion for a total of 10 characters (which is two common words). Thank God there was no emergency while I had to listen to this. I think it was extremely excessive and unnecessary. Outside of this experience, I have had no other interaction with them. I do not know if this is an issue with the company protocol or the rep themselves. In retrospect, I probably just should have hung up.

Very difficult to speak to anyone when…
Very difficult to speak to anyone when calling in. 15 to 30 minute delays are common. How about a system where it records customers number a SimpliSafe calls back?? Once I was able to talk with someone the background noise was so loud I could not understand the agent. The reason I called was to order a smoke alarm for a current system. The website was all but impossible to navigate to buy a single item. It kept adding items in a package. Finally had to call to place order. Been a customer over 10years and have bought 2 systems, never had this problem before. Very dissapointed...
