Customer service was awful
Customer service was awful. Waited on hold for 35 minutes. Once I talked to someone they told me there was nothing they could do but forwarded me to another department. Instead of getting sent to another department I was sent to an individuals extension, who sent me to voicemail. I then had to call back and wait another 35 minutes to talk to someone. By this time I determined that if they customer service was lacking this much that their product was lacking. I was also concerned about notifications regarding if my alarm was set off. I then ended up asking for a return label and shipping my entire security system back. I’ll take the over priced ADT with good customer service rather than the well priced simplisafe who do not care for their customers.

Horrible I called back and was on HOLD AND NEVER was placed w an attendant !! and your supposed to be my security?.. SAD!

I had problems from the start
I had problems from the start. Your doorbell has to be wired, mine had a battery. I bought a special attachment so I could wire the alarm, that worked for about $40 extra. The doorbell apt does not work all the time and I get a message, no internet connection, so it's frustrating. 0n top of that to make my front door opener work I had to invest about $200 more for a central station and a keypad. Then the lock didn't work unless you turned it quickly. So I'm going to replace my deadbolt and components. So it still doesn't work but I am hopeful. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT Support was patient but the problems remain. And lying about the extras you need. One big NO!

Tried to call for a FMA
Tried to call for a FMA. Was on hold for 35 minutes, then switched to another line for 18 more minutes, then disconnected. Simpli Safe matches Tracfone in customer service.

Can't seem to get anyone on the phone…
Can't seem to get anyone on the phone to pause my account since I have moved to another state. Betcha keep billing me for service I am not using though!?!?! Answer the phone. I want to keep my simplisafe, but not at the cost of bad customer service.

Their customer service is nonexistent
Their customer service is nonexistent, at best. Wait times are 30 minutes to over an hour. I was recently double billed and was unable to contact them because of the phone wait times. I had to file a dispute and cancel the credit card to stop them for billing me for services that were canceled over a month ago.

8 devices one after another failed…
8 devices one after another failed within 2 hours. Nobody responsible for failing equipment, and nobody knows who should be. Never resolved. Thanks, folks. Zero stars.

Many sensors needed to be replaced
Many sensors needed to be replaced. Phone app stopped working. Difficult to contact anyone to help us. System still does not work properly. We are currently looking for a better system. Very disappointed

Bad service
I had to cancel the service. Nobody cared in SimpliSafe. My alarm went off a few times and nobody called. There are other options with better quality of service

New components fail to talk to older system.
The problem involved a keyfob that was replaced, but did not work with our 2014 system. Another tech assured the next fob would work, yet that too failed to work.

I tried to order from you. You charged my credit card, and never shipped the equipment. You claimed my order was suspicious. At least you refunded my money. I went with Cove instead.

We have reset our unit twice with help…
We have reset our unit twice with help per phone from ur reps. The alarm still won’t set and goes off silently although we don’t have that in our plan. The only thing it’s good for is for setting it at night “home” setting. Think I’m going to cancel it.

Lousy Product
Honestly, the offer came with a “free camera” that never arrived. Company charged me for a monthly emergency service which on never activated. Key pad door lock was rather flimsy and stop working after 2 months. Followup service and phone assistance was abysmal. I will go with a more expensive product next time as this system is not made well at all.

The customer and technical service is…
The customer and technical service is the worst I have experienced. I have never been able to contact anyone to help me. I have attempted to test my system using the directions supplied but couldn't get it to work. I needed help. After contacting customer service, I was supposedly transferred to technical service. I waited for hours and remained on hold until receiving the message that it was after working hours. My wait was more than 4 hours. This is the reason that I will never recommend your company to anyone. Further, if asked my response will be "go to some other company"!

Can’t seem to get in touch with you guys to cancel monitoring
We have been dinged with false alarm fines while abroad and deactivated the system remotely. We call and get placed on hold then get passed from dept to another only to find out your availability is during business hours only. Nice long $4/min got us no where. Just want to cancel the monitoring service but we can’t get a hold of someone. Meanwhile we are racking up the fines. Half way around the world worried as hell. Don’t want to turn the system back on that’s for sure!

Missing critical feature
SimpliSafe would be great- if a wireless interference detection resulted in a call from monitoring and or an alarm.
