Poor adhesive on the door receivers , glass noise indicator etc ……good initially but all fall off within first 12 months . Support group not surprised but zero help

I just bought this doorbell and am now unable to use it because I moved. And your response was we may come out with one. It just really irks me that I paid for this and cannot use it.

What a Fiasco!
I have two small homes - one in NC and the other in AZ. Due to COVID we stayed SAFE in NC for several months. We decided for security we would add 1 inside and 1 outside camera to the home in AZ. This started at the beginning of June! I have several emails where I document being on hold a LONG time, and then I was speaking with SimpliSafe and got disconnected, etc. I got my cameras ordered on June 3rd. BUT although I explained VERY clearly my situation, the person I spoke with associated the cameras for and shipped to AZ with the home and account in NC! [We were not aware of this!] Then during installation on June 16th, while the cameras were being installed, we had an ALARM from SimpliSafe for NC!! I received the call and spoke with the guy and explained we were installing in AZ, and he said no problem! Then I'm not at the house in NC at the moment, and the sheriff comes to the house there and scares my husband almost to death, as the sheriff received the call about the alarm going off in NC. (We at the time never figured it out.) Since that time I have spent hours on the phone with SimpliSafe - and these are hours I'll never get back! I have a LONG email I sent to Customer Support about ordering my cameras for AZ and the alarm going off in NC, etc. I was assured due to the mess that not only would I receive the first month of monitoring for free, but also two additional FREE months! NEXT, I was trying to get everything in place in NC, and the base station wasn't working correctly, so I was shipped a new SIM card for the base station there on June 17th. (I have the email of June 16th re. the return label.) On June 22 I received another return label via email. On June 24th I have an email from SimpliSafe about the contact info. for emergency dispatch being updated for the AZ house. It noted the "location information." How in the world can the location be different? Totally confusing! The AZ location is in AZ and the NC location is in NC! Then I received another return label on June 28th. The house in AZ it was determined needed a new base station! I received a survey to do on July 1st, but didn't do it because we were still in a mess as far as the alarm systems in BOTH locations at that point in time! There was another email on July 3rd re the alarm in NC and that no test signal had been received lately. This time it was determined that although I had replaced the SIM card in NC, it now needed a new base station. I said we'd be leaving town SOON and I was assured the new base station would be sent overnight! NOPE! Then I have an email on July 7th that my password change has been requested. Then I get another email on July 8th (re. the July 7th replacement) that a new base station was coming to NC! It said it would arrive in 5-7 days! Then I get another email on July 10th about NC not having a test signal. Then I have another email on July 12th that the LOCATION for emergency dispatch for NC had been updated.... Again, if the location in NC is in NC, how/ why can that be changed? We left NC on July 12th, but had to delay our departure by car for several hours to wait for the new base station to arrive and be installed, as well as for us to ship back the old base station! We arrive in AZ and nothing was working correctly for the cameras there since someone at SimpliSafe had associated those with NC AND it could NOT be changed until I arrived in AZ to correct it! CRAZY! On Tues. AM, July 27th, I called SimpliSafe and spent 25 minutes getting everything synced with the cameras and the base station here. Within a minute of hanging up, the inside camera stopped working! THEN I called and spent 2 hr. and 3 minutes on the phone. The people helping seemed to do their best - but SOMETHING IS WRONG! Once again, after all this, now a 2nd base station has to be shipped to AZ to replace the almost new one! AND I found out I got locked out of my alarm system in NC & in AZ!! I am really not happy! What is going on? FRUSTRATION! HELP!!

i have purchase a door bell to add to my system but it does not ring in the house . i have received notifications on my phone and i can see my neighbors across the street but it does not ring in the house. My SimpliSafe front door lock keeps on sticking and unable to manually use. Sent multiple requests for a call and nothing.
Very disappointed
The pin pad wouldn’t turn off the alarm no matter how many times you entered the correct number and no one would help. Very disappointed. Got rid of the system after just a few months.

So happy we chose Simpli Safe to protect our home. It is unbelievably easy to master and to use. As someone who has experience working for another Alarm company, the comparison is like night and day with regard to installation and ease of use. And the customer service has been friendly and always helpful.

Absolutely awful service. Kind, but they didn’t know what they were doing. Was so bad that I returned everything and went with Ring. I don’t regret it for a second. It’s cheaper and the people behind it are more reliable.

The first video doorbell worked for a little while and then it stopped. I couldn't get it to record anything. We tried again and again to reinstall it, and tech support couldn't help either. A second video doorbell was sent out & I returned the first one. That one didn't work either and tech support couldn't help. Simplisafe would not allow us to return the second doorbell because it was too long since the initial purchase. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A LOUSY VIDEO DOORBELL. GO ELSEWHERE!
