The camera will not connect
The camera will not connect, tried multiple times with no success. I get a steady green light which is not listed in the troubleshooting guide. The smoke detector connected immediately, but the main reason I bought the system was for the camera. I try again tonight and will return it if I have no success.

My outdoor cameras do not function properly. I hired a company at your referral to install them for the cameras to work not even half the time. Prior to making my purchase I was adamant about the cameras working for my purpose. I sit on my couch and watch people come to by door, dogs come in my yard and even cars driving through my driveway and it doesn’t sense any of it. Then I was told that they are for indoor use!!! WHAT?! Absolutely frustrating! I could’ve went with several other security companies and I chose y’all! When y’all release the outdoor cameras I expect to trade these in for little or no cost. I was lied to and it’s that simple. Listen to my recorded calls.
New system is WEAK
Have your original system and wanted to upgrade since the Flash interface no longer worked. The salesman assured me the new system had a stronger signal which is important since the garage is so far away it JUST BARELY works.
The new system is apparently weaker since I can't get it to work at all.
Consequently I am now using BOTH systems.

I called to stop my service as I am moving. The person who answered the phone was nice but transferred me to another dept. where I was on hold listening to awful music for 10 minutes so I when I had to return to work I hung up without ever speaking to another person.

Unhappy with your product
We have had several problems with the alarm system. We have called many times and have been on the phone for hours and the problems was not resolved.
The key pad on the wall would show "not connected to monitoring station, some of the devices were not connected, etc.
We were told we needed new key pads twice, we had to replace three base stations boards, and a new base station.
We asked about lit key pad and were told we would have to purchase a new as a upgrade. Basically we are very unhappy with the system and have been since we bought it. We have invested enough in this system.
Don't even bother
The tech sent out , seemed to not have any troubleshooting skills whatsoever. The appointment was a complete waste of money and was a complete waste of my time

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The alarm was accidentally set off and it didn't even wake my daughter and it also didn't notify the police. Indoor camera sensor almost never detected movement and when it did, it stopped recording after 1 minute and 30 seconds so if someone broke in, it would only get 1 minute and 30 seconds of the robbery. I would NEVER recommend this to anyone, you're better off investing the few hundred dollars into a watchdog. It would be much more useful and would have a better chance of actually deterring a burglar or predator.

I'm amused by the fact you call the system 'Simply' anything; yeah simple maybe if you're not a Luddite; we're in no way, shape or form 'computer savvy'; we called Hello Tech and they informed us it would cost $79 to install sensors, $79 to install Outdoor HD camera and $79 to install the video doorbell; when I bought the system, I was told by rep it would cost $79, period! It's still in box!
disconnected no call back
called waited about ten minutes. call was answered spoke with rep for maybe 40 minutes trying to setup my door locks in the middle of call and got disconnected. Ddn't get a call back. Still have problem.Very surprised have nothing but good things to say about Simplisafe.
Poor quality devices.
We bought approximately 20 devices, half of which crash or go offline for days at a time. Only to come back up. We've had it for over a month and the number of unreliable devices increased from 2/20 to 10/20.
I will say the setup was incredibly easy.
No shows for setup
I purchased this security system for my business and scheduled someone to set it up for me 4-6 times. Each time nobody showed. Called the people who schedule and got told every time someone would be out for sure and still no one.
I ordered the units
I ordered the units. When the technician was installing the system, he put in my husband's email information. Now I don't have access to the system and this sucks. I was told by your customer service that I have to use his info to access the system. Why can't I use my info and can't believe families don't have to use one person's info to access the system. I am the one home most of the day and don't know who is coming to the door. Its not realistic if this is your policy and should be addressed.

I rate Simplisafe so low because I have no real confidence that when I need it to work in an emergency, it will. That is based on my one time call in.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience, the absolute worst security system I've ever experienced.
Multiple sensor failure, multiple new sensors sent out, new batteries sent out, new base station sent out; the problem was never resolved and the system never functioned at full capacity. And this was all after I'd shared how critically important it was that I have a fully-functioning system based on an ongoing emergency situation we were facing that required securing our home. Even after that, Simply Safe was unable to secure our home.

Well couldn't get a Tech to set my system up and then y'all email me and say I'm on a 3 day trial and if y'all charge me one more time then I'm getting an attorney. Y'all's system is not on in my house and obviously all y'all cared about was the sale of the Knox system y'all made to me. NOTHING ELSE HAS MATTERED TO YALL AND SURELY NOT MY SECURITY.

Current camera's with the hoods are…
Current camera's with the hoods are worthless for outside usage at night as no nightvision. If you put camera's inside of window looking out they work during the daylight and at night you get a black circle reflection back from window glass, so worthless. During the day camera's work fine if all you'd like to do is check your property during the day. Camera's are very slow to pull up once you receive a notification. Camera's do have a good long range and capability to zoom in but then gets grainy. Doorbell does have good camera quality day or night. Both are very slow to let you see notifications and rewind 10 sec. doesn't always work. You have no capability to delete any recordings. For instance if you had camera's inside your house and you walked through in underclothes you have no way to go back and delete it so other's couldn't view. We have water heater, window and glass break detector's that are easily installed. Not able to test water heater sensor to know if it works. System is easy to install and relatively inexpensive. Great system if for indoor use only with exception of doorbell which works really well day or night. Will raise rating if get good night vision camera's and other needed updates are improved. Feature to speak w/someone at your door is nice.

The system itself is ok. The double sided tape provided with the system has already failed and I had false alarms due to motion sensors falling off the wall. Let's get to the real tragedy of the system. $100 for cameras that have 0 recording and playback features is inexcusable. Our cameras are outside and fail to pick up motion pretty regularly and without playback I can't see what is going on. We had 2 trucks broken into and the cameras only caught the guy once on motion when we saw from a feed down the street he made several trips.

Door bell never did work try two different ones. And bought the Wi-Fi extension . It was a nightmare kept throwing me off my regular Wi-Fi that I have for my cable TV and my camera . I just feel like I wasted a lot of money.
