The main problem is it keeps telling me that it is not available when try to look at camera's. I know you're thinking that I don't have good internet connection, but I do. It seems like there have been times when it said that your site is unavailable. Wish I would've bought another kind.

Well when they came to hook everything up they had all kind of problems. they never got the camera's to work so I had to send them back . And try and to get you money back was a nightmare!!!! And all of those sensors they put up fall off so I got to tape them up. and those motion sensors don't even work!!

Our security system stopped working in the evening. I could not connect my keypad to the base station and none of my sensors were working. Simplisafe customer service were off-hours so there was nothing we could do. We were unprotected for the evening. Not a good experience from a security company! 40 minute wait this morning for customer service so I just removed the batteries from the keypad. That didn't work, so I did the same for the base station. Now I have to re-add every single one of my sensors to the system! Junk!

It's been almost three weeks and I've yet to receive the new sim card.
Poor Support
Customer support was terrible it took them 4 months to get my text notices working, never got a call back when promised spent hours on calls to no aval then one day it finally worked mysteriously.

Could Not Be More Disappointed
I could not be more disappointed in SimpliSafe. Not only did I continue to have problems with their equipment, even after purchasing the newer system, I received exceptionally poor customer service. One of the agents could not resolve the problem and, after we were unexpectedly disconnected did not call back. Moreover, my attempts to reconnect with the agent was entirely unsuccessful. The other agents I spoke with were unable to resolve the issue and come up with an "interesting" set of explanations, all differed. Needless to say, I sent the equipment back and have not repurchased. After using their equipment for years and having repeated problems with the base station...for which I was infinitely patient with SimpliSafe...I finally gave up.
No resolution for a new faulty sensor
We have a sensor in the master bedroom that will periodically not respond when we set the alarm. And sometimes it will work.
I called customer service. I explained our issue.
I was told the signal from this sensor to the base was Medium while other sensors signaled Strong.
The customer service representative told me to remove the sensor from the wall to test it and check the battery. And she said that the base might be to far away. (The signal wasn’t Weak. The Base is just in the next room.)
I installed this system approximately two months ago, and if I remove the sensor from the plaster wall it may damage the plaster and would certainly weaken the ability to stick back on. I didn’t want the sensor to fall off the wall while we were gone and get a police response, etc. I explained that. I asked if I could get another sensor to replace this one that was periodically malfunctioning. She said she had no other alternative and was clearly annoyed with me. I told her I wasn’t going to the sensor and I was very dissatisfied with her response.
I said that I guess there was nothing more she could do for me, and I asked her for her name, and said “Thank you.” She hung up on me.
So now there are times we set the alarm and the Master bedroom is not alarmed.
It should be noted that the Glass Breakage sensor, that is very near the faulty sensor, works perfectly with no issues. So it clearly isn’t the distance from the Base. And it isn’t a battery issue because the faulty sensor works most of the time, which would not happen with a dead battery.
Your system was totally gamed
Your system was totally gamed, either thru the modem or cameras. Had a number of black screens of death and could see evidence of people in the apartment when I returned.
So, no,, not great.
Poor durability
Poor durability! I've had my system less than a year and all of the sensors are falling off. My smart lock jams almost every single time that it tries to close. While it was easy to install, I would have loved a system that lasts the lifetime of my home and not 11 months.

I've been working with reps. for over a month trying to get my camera working on my app, but no one can help me. It works fine on the web site.
I sure would like to give SS a 5 star if someone can call me and get this fixed.

Costco Credit Card - System disconnection
The issue is a LifeLock systems issue between Costco Warehouse Credit Card. I was told in May that this would be resolved by July 17th. It is not. I called again on 7/25. The CSR was unaware of this system issue and had me delete the account and add back in to LifeLock as I had been instructed in May. This was unnecessary since LifeLock is unable to get daily downloads for this credit card at this time.
Two issues;
1) LifeLock should have informed listed Costco cardholders of the continued disconnection.
2) CSRs should be appraised of any system issues. I was placed on extended holds twice when all I wanted to know was if there was a revised date for the system connection problem to be resolved.
Buyer Beware
We purchased the Simpli Safe system because of its overall rating. My problem is when the equipment arrives you need them to walk you through everything to make sure it works properly. However if you don’t ask the right questions the company does not fully or adequately provide the customer with everything you need to know to make the system work.

I am still trying to set up. Not sure if camera will work unless I upgrade monitoring package. I have not been able to place sensors yet. I was thinking about returning because I am not sure if it is really working.

Equipment is sub par at its best. Then they made it a pain to cancel service! Do NOT recommend. Go elsewhere!

My door lock would read unlocked on the app, but in reality it was locked and sometimes vice versa! It was inconsistent about 10% to 15% of the time but 10-15% inconsistency on safety is too much. The other parts of simplisafe worked very well tho. Needless to say I switched to Ring which is flawless!

Sensors keep malfunctioning within a few months of buying the whole SimpliSafe system. I’ve had to exchange almost all of them. Also, the call wait to talk to someone for troubleshooting issues is on average 30 minutes. Who has that time to wait, especially if the sensors keep malfunctioning. I Currently, have 4 out of 5 senses not working while I’m out of town. Pointless to have a security system that is unreliable.

Simplisafe really screwed our system up. I wanted to install a camera, they said we could with no additional cost. Wrong…So we called to ask, they said they would fix it. Next thing we know, we had no service. Called to get reactivated, again it would cost nothing but no monitoring of our camera, just live views. No good to us. In the process of sending a $139.00 camera back
