I called for technical help 3 times and…
I called for technical help 3 times and waited a total of 30 minutes, but never received any response. Listened to horrible recorded "music" the whole time ! I hope the central station is better than this response !

I am being over billed by SimpliSafe
I am being over billed by SimpliSafe . I’ve tried getting them on the phone to correct the error. Impossible !! They make it so easy to take your money, but try getting them to correct their billing mistakes. Good Luck with that.

Mediocre product. Terrible customer service.
Our base station went out due to a faulty power cable. The replacement that was sent malfunctioned on start-up, and I haven’t been able to get through to customer service despite waiting on hold over an hour on three separate occasions. I now have two base stations I need to return, and can’t seem to get anyone on the phone.

I'm having problems with the sensors
I'm having problems with the sensors, and have not been able to contact support. The wait times are 30 minutes plus. Plus, someone came in and stole some stuff over the weekend, and the alarms didn't even trip. The cameras don't activate.

The cameras constantly drop
The cameras constantly drop. When the service was activated the system would go off every time I left the house. I have a 3 pound dog and was told he should not be able to trigger the system and yet every time I left the house the alarm would go off necessitating me to go home. Definitively do not feel secure with the system.

Expensive and just okay quality
Mobile app is down all the time and they make it ridiculously hard to cancel. Cost of the plan with camera support is too expensive. Probably should provide better plan choices for consumers. Cameras that ship are only 720p and are way overpriced for the quality they provide. I still haven't cancelled because every time I call in I'm stuck in queue for hours. The actual sensors/base station were pretty good though. The battery/LTE back up is nice.

Terrible customer support/service
Terrible customer support/service. CSM actually refused to even speak to me, or communicate. I'm reasonable and polite. However, I've literally never experienced such poor customer service. Dorothea, the CSM actually refused to speak to me. The CS rep I spoke to, Makayla, explained why I asked to speak to a manager and she flat-out declined. Please explain in detail the responsibilities to your customer service managers. I'm so done with SimpliSafe! A change is certainly coming! Never again SimpliSafe.....never again!

I like the system and the price point
I like the system and the price point; however, I've had issues with repeated activations and similar shortfalls with the system. The system is a previous generation and that could be the cause; nevertheless, I'm glad I live in an area where I'm not fined for false activations. Additionally, when there are activations, the system at times lacks the robust features to identify which particular sensor of that type is the problem.

I love Simplisafe; but the smoke detector went off with absolutely no explanation!
I love Simplisafe, as a home security system it is super easy to configure and works great...with one exception. I have a one smoke detector just so the house is monitored when we're away. The other installed smoke detectors are what will get us out in a fire. That said, the Simplisafe smoke detector went off in the middle of the night with absolutely no rationale or logic. The Simplisafe dispatcher called to check, and that was great! But now I have this nagging uncertainty that the Simplisafe smoke detector will go off while we're away and the fire company will come for nothing. Not the worst thing in the world, but the system is for peace-of-mind, not added anxiety. If someone could explain what we need to do differently to prevent this from happening again that would be wonderful!

Poor mobile app
Security system works fine. The app just takes forever to load. My wifi system is great throughout the entire home, so that’s not the problem. For some reason the app can take minutes to load, which is unacceptable for a security system.

I understand that I am outside of my…
I understand that I am outside of my return window for ONE of the products I purchased, but considering I spent much on my entire system and even the monthly service, I was hoping for an exception on returning a small part of all of my other purchases.

Terrible Experience
Buying a system was not a good experience from start to finish. I do not have time nor the patience to list out each reason to support this. A 2 star rating was being generous simply because the company has stayed out of hyper-politics that I am currently aware of. Thanks for that. Keep American people working and try not selling out to China.

well when i called about helping with…
well when i called about helping with installation i was given two options about outdoor and indoor and pricing. now i was trying to send back system and woman said they had not even begun with outdoor cameras so that was scary that they would charge me for outdoor cameras when they had none. it was going to cost so much per month but each person gave another price and story so that i did not think it was viable. thank you. i hope i get my credit.

We have 3 Simplisafe systems in 3…
We have 3 Simplisafe systems in 3 different locations. 2 systems are not functioning. You can look at my call record. Numerous LONG conversations with your techs and customer support. was sent replacement keypads, other equip, SIM cards which were incorrect. Resulted with more long frustrating calls to you. In the last call this past winter I had a person who was obviously an inexperienced trainee who put me on hold numerous times to discuss what she should tell me, none of which worked. 1 1/2 hours of frustration, in which she said we needed new control panels in our towers, and that we had been sent wrong ones. I gave up. 2 systems not working. Our systems are antiquated and need replacement. I just can't deal with the incompetence demonstrated in my calls to you. Ready to start over with another company, unless I can be directed to someone there who can solve our problems in short order

Bad customer service
Product is ok, but, customer service is terrible. My order was placed on back order. Since I needed the product immediately due to moving, I canceled my order multiple times through customer service. I received a “notice of shipping” weeks later. The product has been lost but my credit card was charged..
