Alarm went off at the office. (front door). Simplisafe called and I missed the call. Return the call right away and nobody pick up the phone for over 10 min.
Went to office and see the one of the entry sensor was dropped. double tape on the back of the sensor was no longer stick to the door..

The cameras Constantly disconnect and customer service went from one minute to talk to a representative to 40 minutes or more. Not at all happy
The system when delivered to me was missing parts.
The system when delivered to me was missing a part. The packaging, flimsy as it was, had fallen apart during shipping. I contacted SimpliSafe as asked that they overnight the part as I had waited long enough for the product to begin with. Two individuals told me that they could not do that and that the missing part would be 5 days getting to me. I told them that that was unacceptable and if that was indication of the service I could expect then I wanted no part of SimpliSafe and would be returning the entire unit for a refund. And that is what I did.

Camera always disconnect or losses video even if the Wifi router is 2 feet away! It doesn’t work when rain or during cold conditions.

Simpli a bad deal…
We bought a home in another state and it was going to be several months before we moved in, so felt like it was a good idea to invest in a security system. We went with the SimpliSafe security system, because of the great reviews, YouTube sponsorships, and on the website it had a section about "self monitoring", where you could just use the app to alert you of events or check sensors.
After we moved in, I called in to end the manned monitoring and switch to self monitoring. I talked to four different customer service agents and none of them had ever heard of self monitoring, and when I pointed them to the area on the website that spoke of it they said there was nothing they could do.
So, to sum it up, the sensors seem to work fine, although the adhesive has failed on a few, but the system is worthless for us because we aren't in need of a person calling our phone to tell us a water sensor went off. I just want to be able to look at an app on my phone, but unless you pay a monthly fee, the system is locked out to you. That's what you expect from companies like ADT, that give you free or discounted hardware, knowing they will profit off if your monthly payments. But with SimpliSafe, you pay upfront and then you can do nothing with the equipment unless you send them money every month. That's Simpli a bad deal.

Disappointed and no customer service
My system is useless. The door sensor quit working after a year and can’t turn on alarm. Still paying a monthly fee for nothing and I don’t feel safe. Such a waste of money.
Faults and won’t stop even after canceling the alarm
When your system randomly goes off and it’s different sensors and keeps triggering it’s not a system you can trust.
Unreliable service, ineffective customer care
The SimpliSafe devices are unreliable and the customer service is ineffective. We are constantly being notified that our sensors are “offline”, or “open” when the device is clearly online and closed. Customer care could only tell us to turn off and on, and then charged us for new replacement devices. We continue to receive low quality service across devices and customer care. We are currently looking at alternative service providers.

My cameras will not connect. My internet meets the required settings and will not connect.
The overall system is ok
The overall system is ok. Sensors often lose contact with the base station which in some cases requires removing/reinstalling the battery. The #1 flaw of Simplisafe is that the base station doesn’t announce the address of a “tripped” sensor unless in test mode.
Wish I would have gone with a competitor
Service is ok but it has zero smart home integrations. It’s interface with Alexa is clumsy and complicated. the control pad is a o ok sun to use they tried to out features in it but went cheap on the screen using it is like trying to text with a rotary phone. Lastly set up is expensive. Wish I would have gone with one of their competitors. But it cost so much for equipment I am locked in.

Our cameras don't pick up anything that goes by them. You even sent us one replacement. We paid a lot of money for this system but if it doesn't work I'm not sure what to do. :( Very disappointed right now

You need prompt customer service. After almost an hour on hold I hung up and refilled . I choose the née customer option and surprise!

Equipment failed, nearly immediately. Have not bothered to replace.

Sensors are ridiculously sensitive
Sensors are ridiculously sensitive, we are unable to use the alarm function due to the sheer number of false alarms. Adhesive on the sensors lasts about 6 months, then dries out, causing sensors to fall and trigger. Motion activated camera works maybe 40% of the time, does not connect with WiFi. A useful feature such as an outdoor camera for the driveway is unavailable. This is a 400$ system that is useless for the most part.
Cons/Pros
Cons: connectivity. I am constantly unable to connect to cameras even though the router satellite is 5 feet away with clear line of site. I also ran through all the trouble shooting I could find with no luck. I am hesitant to be a monthly subscriber because of this.
Pros: easy to set up(other than the Above issues), app is pretty straightforward.
